ABOUT ME:
Hello! I’m Michael Bane, though most people call me Misha. I am a third-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and the minors in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. Have also been admitted to Northeastern's Plus One Master’s Program in which I will pursue an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Mechatronics. In addition, I plan to pursue a professional engineering (PE) license.
My passion for engineering started when I was a young child. Naturally curious, I have always been fascinated by how things are made. From skyscrapers to seashells, from Lego bricks to cars, I have always asked the question “How?” Throughout my college career, I have had many opportunities to apply my curiosity and my interests in 3D design and prototyping to various projects. I constructed an autonomous sumo robot with a team for a class project, designed at the front of the module of an underwater vehicle during my internship at MIT, and produced industry standard Fire Protection field drawings and stock lists during my co-op at J.C. Cannistraro. Through these experiences, along with many others, I have developed my problem solving, organizational, innovative, and oral communication skills.
Adopted from Russia when I was just over a year old, I have since grown up in Massachusetts and tried to make the most of the great opportunities I have received. Some of my hobbies include reading, completing puzzles, rowing, and playing the traditional Irish button accordion (which I have played since I was 5!).
I look forward to joining Keurig Dr. Pepper for my Fall 2026 Co-op (July-Dec) as an Appliance Engineer!
